The Nottingham Street Art Festival

Urban Shutterbug @ NSAF 2017.

I write this on the eve of the Nottingham Street Art Festival 2017. The respected event, now entering it’s fourth year celebrates the best of Urban Art Culture.

The city’s Surface Gallery opens precedings with it’s annual exhibiton featuring submissions from local & international artists alike. Having visited Surface Gallery this week, I can guarantee visitors are in for a visual treat. Following opening night, festivities venture into the city’s Hockley quarter with the ‘Sisters of Street’ event on Saturday 24th June.

After a hedonistic opening weekend the city settles before gearing up for the ‘Nottingham Bloc Party’ on Saturday 8th July. Taking place at the city’s Sneinton Market, featuring DJ sets, live painting & an urban inspired market. The following weekend the Festival returns to Surface Gallery for it’s closing event the ‘Blackbook Day’, a chance to chill, chat & discuss creative ideas.

For the second year running Urban Shutterbug is delighted to be involved with documenting this wonderful festival. Latest images from my coverage of the event can be found by visiting my blog post: Event – Nott’m Street Festival. This year I’m also excited to announce Urban Shutterbug has a stall at the Bloc Party, so please feel free to drop by & say hello.
